When you grow up, what do you want to do or be?

by on Mar.15, 2010, under Assignments, Blogging, Curriculum

Alan Lakein has the following view about planning and your future.

  1. “In all planning you make a list and you set priorities.”
“Time = Life, Therefore, waste your time and waste of your life, or master your time and master your life.”
  2. “Failing to plan is planning to fail.”

  3. “Planning is bringing the future into the present so that you can do something about it now.”

There are lots of things to consider when trying to map out your future.  You need to plan for your future now so that you have a chance at being successful.

What are your aspirations?  What job do you want to have?  When you dream about the future, what do you think about? What do you dream that you will be? How does what you want to do relate to who you are now? OR if you’re character is already grown up, What do you want to accomplish in your life? What big goals have you set for yourself, and why? When you daydream about what you might be or do in your life, what do you dream about? What are you doing? And how do your dreams relate to who you are now?
